Feeling STUCK In Life?

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

Are you moving through life looking for more... Maybe even a little lost? Have you felt the call to make a change but don't know how or where to even start? I've been there, it sucks. It can be a dark place and quite isolated. Looking for an outlet that will change it all and make life suddenly seem better.

Not to mention the negative self-talk that can come creeping in. Ouch, we definitely can be our worst critic. If your words to yourself aren’t loving and kind then that, my friend makes for a long day and a long life. I would start to question if those words you say to yourself, are even your words?

I'm here to remind you are none of those mean thoughts inside of your head. Sure, you have bad days and can screw some things up, we all can and have! But deep down you want better for you and for yours. You deserve it and you can have it. I'm going to be honest; it takes time. We can’t change our entire life with one pill and if you can... I don’t know if I would trust it. It’s about evolution, you are evolving. However, change is real.

Think of this as a reminder that you are powerful and so precious. You have talents that are needed and some you have yet to even explore. This stuck feeling and energy is temporary and even though it’s cloudy and storming where you are, I am here with an umbrella in the rain to help you pull yourself out. That’s right, you will have make the change but I have some encouragement and tools that can help you let go and come back to you.

I'm here to remind you that you must fight for you and take your power back. Now would be a great time to reevaluate life. What brings you joy? What are you doing to fill up your cup daily? When was the last time you did something fun? If the answer is nothing or I don’t know... Then my friend, here is your permission slip for you to explore and to find "it" (and by "it" I really mean YOU).

You have permission to look deep and ask yourself the hard questions. Why am I living like this? Does it serve me best? Are the thoughts I have about myself and my life even mine? Or are they learned and accumulated from the outside world? What would make me happy? How can I create it? What brings me joy?

MAMA'S (or Dads) this is a side note to you...

And for all those that are mama's, finding joy through your children is wonderful but that is not the joy I am talking about. They are wonderful little humans that bring out the sunshine in us, most of the time. ;) But I'm talking about you taking a deep look internally and asking what would I do if it was only for me? How can I give back to myself and love me the best? What does that look like? Make a list if you need to. Be "selfish" here (which is actually not selfish at all! We will work to unlearn that belief in time) if that’s how you feel about it. In reality it's setting better boundaries for you, which is in turn, what we hope to teach our kids.

Mix It Up, Find What Does Work For YOU

Healing is not an over night things, it takes time. Day by day you can find and then build habits that fit you best. Did you once love to dance? If so, when was the last time you put on a song and moved your body? Once you do, check in with yourself and see how you feel after. Sunshine on the skin can feel like magic in its own way plus so many healing properties! Soak in that vitamin D first thing in the morning if you can. It will help you sync your circadian rhythm (Hello, better sleep). Did you once like to journal but don’t have the time? What brings you pleasure? Stop putting limits on how much of something you must do in order to make it work for you. If you can only devote 5-10 mins each day at first, then start there. Small steps are still a steps in the direction you want.

We get to choose which hard we choose in life. For a good while it was easier for me to choose the hardest choice, it was the path that would please everyone else... Until I realized were not here on this earth to please others, I am here to please me. We were put here to create joy within and then you expel it out, on to others by doing the very things that bring you joy.

So here is your permission slip to get out of this rut. To change it up, to get unstuck in life. Release the old and welcome the new. Somehow along the way as we age, we can become complacent and, in a routine, (which I do love a good routine) but how often do we look around and ask, is this serving me? Am I serving myself best? If the answer is no, then you now know where to start. It’s a deep look within and going from there. Big Love To YOU

I hope this letter serves you well and brings you a new insight. I truly hope you get relief and ask yourself those deep meaningful questions. You deserve to live a life full of joy, wonder, and love that comes from yourself and from others.

<3 Meg
