FAQ'S

What is Root Cause Therapy?

Root Cause Therapy is a form of alternative medicine used trained spiritual healers and practitioners that use this method to find the ‘root cause’ of issues that may be preventing you from unearthing your true self. The process includes somatic therapy, guided imagery, inner child healing, regression, future progression, NLP and timeline therapy… All bundled up into a framework. The aim is to work on all levels of consciousness (emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual) for long-term health and change. RCT is based on the idea that many problems, such as anxiety and depression, automatic negative self-talk, triggers, and overwhelming emotions stem from unresolved emotional issues from the past or worrisome projections into the future.

What is alternative medicine?

Alternative medicine is what is used to describe different treatments that fall outside of traditional or mainstream healthcare. Alternative medicines and alternative healing have been used by different cultures for thousands of years for various health issues - ranging from healing methods such as herbal medicines, massage, acupuncture, to other specialty methods of healing, such as Reiki and Root Cause Therapy.

Deciding which method of alternative medicine or alternative healing depends on the symptoms you are dealing with, for more information on which practice is best for you, you can get in touch for a free 15-min consultation here.

Should I use alternative medicine?

This can totally depend on the severity and symptoms of your health issue, but more and more people are seeing the benefits to alternative healing methods that operate outside of the mainstream treatment solutions.

In a recent study, it was reported that about a third of Americans seek help for their health that is outside of their doctor’s office. With breathwork and yoga being the most popular amongst US citizens. Other alternative healing treatments such as Reiki and Root Cause Therapy have developed over the years and have also started growing in popularity as more people start to see the benefits. As always, listen to your intuition on what is right for you and yours and know this is not medical advice, you should speak with your medical provider on actions you seek and feel they should know.

How many sessions do I need to have?

Honestly, that is up to you. Just remember that change doesn’t happen overnight. With RCT most see improvement after the 2nd session (first full Root Cause Therapy session). However, it’s recommended to have multiple sessions to see and feel real transformation. If you’re really in it to heal and have lasting outcomes, then I suggest weekly or biweekly commitment to yourself for a few months. Most RCT practitioners ask for 6-12 sessions over time for full impact. The goal isn’t to be long term here. The goal is to have sessions, get lasting change to reparent your thoughts and behavior and then if needed, to have follow ups as needed down the line.

Why are your sessions 1 hour and other RCT practitioners are 2 hours?

I found that when I would do 2 hour sessions, it was a lot for clients to process. We are doing deep healing work and sometimes navigating into traumatic events. So, I’ve adjusted to what fits my clients best, one-hour sessions. First session we meet, discuss your goals, and what you’re wanting to change or get relief from, then get started on the intake process. Which includes, us building rapport together, muscle testing limiting beliefs and then choosing which to then work on in the next session.

What should I expect in a session?

Check out this blog post that goes into detail about the first few sessions to know what to expect.

In this blog, we break down what your Root Cause Therapy Sessions might look like and how this method of alternative healing can really help you to let go of past traumas and unlock your true potential.

Do you offer virtual sessions online?

As well as offering Root Cause Therapy sessions in person, we also offer a virtual service for those who may not be local or may not be able to travel to our physical office.

With our virtual services, we are still able to create a safe and relaxed environment for you as we would if you were able to attend in person. This means no matter where you are based, you too can book RCT sessions with me and still feel the benefits and the opportunity to realize who you truly are and unlock your full potential.

What Meg wants you to know…

Know you are safe. This is a healing space created for you. I ask that you leave your expectations at the door and be open to what all can happen. Know that whatever is meant to come from your healing, will. There is no right or wrong way to have a session. Everyone is different and so are their experiences. From time-to-time clients will say they’re worried RCT won’t work on them. I’m here to say every client I’ve had to date has come out with some revelations. Now, what all comes from the session is up to you. How open are you to this?  Can you surrender and allow the healing to take place? Leaving the judgment of what comes forth, and just knowing you are supported and safe for the healing to take place.
